Testing the Connectivity
for the Virtual Lab
Rand 3D's LIVE Online training lab utilizes your internet browser to connect to ReadyTech via standard web browsing
protocols and internet ports. It is highly recommended that your computer be connected to the internet via a hard-
wired connection (not over WiFi) and that your internet connection has consistent speeds in excess of 1Mbs for both
upload and download.
The link below will check your internet browser for compatibility, verify connectivity to the virtual lab environment, and
measure the network/internet performance of your computer. Please run this pre-check before class starts to verify
your computer will run well with the lab environment.
Follow the steps below to ensure your computer can connect to the hands-on lab environment.
1. Open your Internet browser (Google Chrome is highly recommended).
2. Go to https://instructorled.training/precheck
3. Leave the default data center location as United States.
4. Click Start.
5. Below is an example of what you will see for results. Click the Details button if you have any concerns with the results.
