For example, the hole feature is selected to create the dimension and geometrical tolerance annotation shown in Figure 1–20. A parent-child relationship now exists between the hole and the annotation so that the annotation would fail if the hole were deleted. Figure 1–20 3D Master Query The 3D Master Query tool ( ) is used to identify the connection between a selected annotation and the rest of the model by highlighting elements on the model and in the specification tree when enabled. For example, the system highlights the hole feature if the toleranced dimension is selected, as shown in Figure 1–21.
