3DEXPERIENCE 2022x: 3D Tolerancing and Annotation 1–12 © 2022, ASCENT - Center for Technical Knowledge® View The View section of the Action Bar has many generic commands that are found in most apps in 3DEXPERIENCE, but the following are the 3D T&A specific tools found within the View section. While these tools may be found in other apps, they all have an important use when working with 3D T&A. Tools The Tools section, just like the View section, has many generic commands that are found in most apps in 3DEXPERIENCE. The following are the tools that are important for creating in the 3D T&A app. Option Icon Description Views... Creates semantic annotations based on the selected geometry. Annotation Blanking Displays annotations with a blank background 3D Master Query When this is active, selecting an element also highlights all associated geometry and annotations. Display 3D Grid Toggles on/off the display of a grid on the active view. Cutting Plane Cuts the part by the selected annotation plane. Elements' Analysis Displays the various elements with particular status in different customizable colors. Mirror Annotations Mirrors the direction of the text in the annotation plane. Option Icon Description 3D Annotation Filter Enables annotations to be filtered and displayed. Object Properties Toggles on/off the Object Properties window.
