Technical Specifications Was this chat tool developed in-house? The chat widget was developed in-house but leverages the Microsoft Azures OpenAI Service models. Was this built on an AI framework? (i.e. ChatGPT, Copilot) Yes, it was built using the Azure OpenAI framework, using the GPT 3.5 Turbo model available within the service. What amount of computation is used for training it? The model was pre-trained by OpenAI and provided through Microsoft Azure. Azure OpenAI services manage and optimize all computations necessary for inference rather than training, as the model is already trained. Data Handling What types of input data (technical/ personal information, synthetic, open- source, commercially sensitive, etc.) do you expect to be processed by it? Are user entries the only way to input? The input data primarily consists of user queries, which may contain general technical information or operational inquiries. There is no expectation for the system to process sensitive personal or commercially sensitive information. User entries are the primary mode of input. Will outputs be combined/merged with other data sets? Outputs will be blended with Pinnacle Series content via our standard search index. Will the solution retain input data and/or outputs? For how long? Currently it does not retain input or output data. However, as we continue to enhance the use of AI, taking advantage of conversions to continually train responses or possibly build content will be considered and therefore could change the use of retaining data. Who has access to it? Once turned on within the Admin Portal > Settings > General options, all users within the tenant can access the AI Chat feature. If it is provided by a third party (as opposed to being entirely developed in-house), will the inputs and outputs from users be used to train the model? No, Microsoft Azure OpenAI does not use customer data to train or improve the model. All input and output data will remain isolated from Microsoft and OpenAI are not used in further model training. Legal and Compliance Is it complying with any AI Industry Standards and Regulations? Compliant with: CCPA, CSA Star, GDPR, SOC 2, & SOC 3.
