It displays a variety of information about the model and displays the features of the part in the order in which they were created, as shown in Figure 1–11. This provides quick access to parameters, functions, materials, and commonly used measurements. The specification tree can be quickly toggled on and off by pressing . Figure 1–11 Compass The compass is available for part and assembly models. It displays in the upper right corner of the model window and can perform various functions, as shown in Figure 1–12. The compass is used to: • Freely rotate the model in all three directions. • Rotate the model in a plane. • Pan along one direction. • Pan in a plane. • View down an axis direction by selecting the X, Y, or Z letter.
