Practice 1a Viewing a Part
In this practice, you will open an existing model and work with
various visualization tools. You will also change the geometry of
a model by editing parameters and deleting features, and note
how these changes update in drawings and assemblies.
Task 1 - Open a part and change the display of the model.
1. Click (Open) in the toolbar to open a part.
2. In the File Selection dialog box, select
Flange_Lock.CATPart and click Open.
3. Change the display to Shading by selecting the Shading
icon in the flyout menu, as shown in Figure 1–21.
