You will also change the geometry of a model by editing parameters and deleting features, and note how these changes update in drawings and assemblies. Task 1 - Open a part and change the display of the model. 1. Click (Open) in the toolbar to open a part. 2. In the File Selection dialog box, select Flange_Lock.CATPart and click Open. 3. Change the display to Shading by selecting the Shading icon in the flyout menu, as shown in Figure 1–21. Figure 1–21 Practice Objectives • Open a part model and view it from different orientations. • Change the display settings for the model. • Investigate associativity between parts, drawings and assemblies.
