Position the cursor over the geometry that you want to select. 2. Press and hold and then select the model. The software lists all of the entities that are beneath the selection point. 3. Right-click to navigate through the possible selections, or move the cursor to make the appropriate selection, as shown in Figure 1–18. Figure 1–18 This option is controlled through the Preselect in geometry view option (Tools>Options>General>Display>Navigation tab). User-Defined Views To create a user-defined view, orient the model to the required orientation and select View>Named Views. The Named Views dialog box opens, as shown in Figure 1–19. Figure 1–19 • Click Add. The name defaults to Camera 1. Enter the required name and click Apply.
