3. Click (Zoom Out) several times to zoom out.
4. In the menu bar, select View>Zoom Area. Use the left
mouse button to draw a box around the area you want to
zoom in to, as shown in Figure 1–25.
In some cases, the
zoom area box does not
display on the screen,
although the
functionality works
correctly.

5. Click (Pan) to pan the model. The icon turns orange to
indicate that it is active.
6. Place the cursor near the bottom of the graphics window,
hold the left mouse button, and drag the cursor to the top of
the screen. You have panned down on the model.
You learn additional
ways of panning and
zooming later in the
practice.
7. (Pan) is no longer orange. This means you must click
the icon each time you want to pan.
8. Click (Fit All In) to fit the model in the window.
9. Click (Rotate) to rotate the model. Hold the left mouse
button and move the cursor to rotate the model. The Rotate
icon behaves in the same manner as the Pan icon, where
you must click the icon each time you want to rotate the
model.
