Task 2 - Set the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to add your initials
to new and imported objects.
1. In the Top Bar, click your user icon.
2. Select Preferences, as shown in Figure 1–30.

3. In the Preferences dialog box, click App Preferences Tab,
as shown in Figure 1–31.
4. Expand Social and Collaborative, and then expand Global
Design Management and select Collaborative Lifecycle,
as shown in Figure 1–31.
5. In the Identification section, add your initials followed by an
underscore, as shown in Figure 1–31.
Note that the images in
this guide will not have
initials preceding the
names.
Alternatively you can
type Identification
String into the search
settings under the
Preferences tab and let
it find it for you.

6. Click OK.
