1.4 Launching the
3DEXPERIENCE Platform
The 3DEXPERIENCE platform infrastructure is organized
around a centralized engineering database. This permits
concurrent communication of the latest design data. As a result,
the chance of using obsolete data is minimized for all participants
with access to the system.
Connecting to
the System
The centralized database structure requires that you log into the
system with the appropriate credentials to use the software.
When you launch the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, the
3DEXPERIENCE - Login dialog box opens as shown in
Figure 1–9, in which you must enter your user name and
password.
Your administrator must provide this information before you can
use the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
