Compass
Apps are accessible through the Compass. The Compass is a
re-imagined version of the Start menu from V5. The Compass is
broken into two selectable regions - the Play button (inner
circle), and the Roles, Apps & Solution Portfolio (outer ring).
Selecting the Play button in certain applicable apps will start
interactions like simulations and animations. The Roles, Apps &
Solution Portfolio button lists all the available roles and apps
that are accessible on the 3D experience platform, as shown in
Figure 1–4.
