By tying different aspects of product creation, development, and manufacturing, the platform becomes a single source of truth to define the product. As such, all file information is stored in a shared database. As opposed to simply storing files in folders, a database creates relations between files so that they may be searched, filtered, and connected in meaningful ways that create value and usefulness, making it easier to work with large sets of data and provide individual users with the knowledge that they need.
