Apps
An app is a set of tools used to complete certain tasks. The apps
used in this course are described as follows:
Additional apps are accessed from within other apps. For
example, when in the Part Design app, you will create sketches
for features. To create those sketches, the system places you
into the Sketch app.
Other apps can be used for Analysis, Manufacturing, Digital
Mock Up, and other advanced tasks. The name of the active app
is displayed next to the compass, as shown in Figure 1–18.
