An alternative method is as follows:
1. Position the cursor over the geometry that you want to select.
2. Press and hold and then select the model. The
software lists all of the entities that are beneath the selection
point.
3. Move the cursor to make the appropriate selection. This
option is controlled through the Preselect in Geometry View
option, located in Me>Preferences>Common
Preferences>2D 3D View Display>Selection>Selection,
where Me is your user icon in the Top Bar of the
3DEXPERIENCE window.
