Part Design Overview © 2023, ASCENT - Center for Technical Knowledge® 1–7 Practice 1a Capturing Design Intent in Sketcher The intent of this practice is to demonstrate how design intent can be captured using sketcher tools and techniques. As with every modeling process, you should use the simplest and most effective methods of capturing design intent. A proficient 3DEXPERIENCE user can create robust models that enable design changes to be made quickly and easily, resulting in predicable changes throughout the model. Create the part using the following information: • Figure 1–2 shows an isometric view of the completed pipe model. • Figure 1–3 shows the design requirements that must be captured. • Figure 1–4 shows the dimensioned drawing views. Figure 1–2 Practice Objective • Use the sketcher tools to capture design intent. Sample provided by ASCENT for review only All copying and reuse strictly forbidden.
