Creo Parametric Tip: 2D Box Selection

Starting in Creo Parametric 4.0, when using an object/action workflow, you can use 2D box selection in combination with the selection filter settings to select only items of the same type related to the active filter. In the latest versions of Creo Parametric, the 2D box selection method is an effective alternative to individual selection methods, unless the intent-based selection method is recommended.

When using 2D box selection and dragging the box from left to right, all items entirely located within the box are selected.

Additionally, you can press and hold down the <CTRL> key to perform multiple 2D box selection operations. This allows you to add objects into the selection in an accumulative way.

It is notable to mention that you can remove items from the selection by pressing an holding the <CTRL> key and then clicking the individual objects.
