Compass
Apps are accessible through the Compass. The Compass is a
re-imagined version of the Start menu from V5. The Compass is
broken into two selectable regions - the Play button (inner
circle), and the Roles, Apps & Solution portfolio (outer ring).
Selecting the Play button in certain applicable apps will start
interactions things like simulations and animations. The Roles,
Apps & Solution Portfolio button lists all the available roles and
apps that accessible on the 3D experience platform as shown in
Figure 1–4.

While the Roles, Apps & Solution Portfolio works as a single
button to access apps, there are general categories that a
number of these apps fall under. Below is a list of some of the
modules capable of being implemented within the 3D
Experience.
Social and Collaborative Apps
• Enovia - Collaborative Innovation, Document Revisions,
Database Management
• 3DEXCITE - Marketing in the Age of Relationships
