Fixing a Base Component back to its Original Location

When new users are creating assemblies in CATIA, a common issue is forgetting to fix the base component. This leads to the base part getting moved away from the origin and making all the parts misaligned. Trying to get that base part back to its original location and fixed can be a bit difficult if you don't know what you are looking for.

This short video will show the proper way to restore a parts location. The topic of Assembly Design is covered in the Rand 3D class, Introduction to Modeling.
