CATIA Tip: Double-Click to Repeat

Welcome back to another episode of CATIA Tips in a Minute or Less. This one is an oldie but a goldie.

Ever find yourself using the same command over and over and over? It’s kind of annoying to have to click the same icon so… many… times.

Down below, I’m drawing a circle at the each corner of the existing rectangle. And every time, I have to click that Circle icon again.

Don’t fret. Instead, double-click.

This time, I double-click the Circle icon. It stays active and stays orange. Now, I can draw as many circles as I like without having to tap the icon. Once I’m done, I can click the icon again to deactivate it or simply tap Escape. Easy!
