Phase 3 – Delivery and Support

The purpose of this phase is to develop the training schedule and deliver the content developed in Phase 2. The delivery format can be instructor-led (in-person and virtual), self-paced, and blended learning, as determined in Phase 1. The Phase 2 deliverables are used by the instructor and for self-paced learning. The locations for the instructor-led in-person training are determined as well as the number of attendees and language expectations for each location. The availability of facilities, computers, and internet access is arranged. The self-paced content is available before, during, and after delivery for reference through an on-site Learning Management System (LMS), web server, or hosted through ProductivityNOW.

Support is also available before, during, and after training delivery. The details are determined based on a client’s existing support plans. In addition to sending out training evaluation forms, surveys can be sent to end-users after a certain period to gauge productivity and comfort with the PLM system. Ongoing Lunch and Learns, either in-person or virtual, have also been effective in helping users retain knowledge and providing a forum for questions.
