Do you ever have trouble remembering exactly which 3D model was used for the basis of your current drawing? Or have a hard time telling what a certain item on the drawing is supposed to be? If so, try these quick tricks.
The missing link
Here’s an easy check: Head to Edit > Links and take a peek at the Pointed Documents tab. Any files linked by the 2D drawing will be listed here.
Want to quickly open that 3D model? Just click the Open on the right side of the window.
Taking it a small step further
If you’d like to see where a particular piece of 2D geometry is located in 3D space, go to Tools > Analyze > Show Geometry in All View Points.
Hover over the drawing and the same item shows up highlighted in the 3D preview window.
